As Personnel Director, you’ll lead a ten-member team spread across the US as they mobilize and mentor people for God’s global work. You’ll guide strategy sessions on mobilizing professionals for mission. You’ll advise your team as they coach cross-cultural workers through application to overseas service to home assignment, leading and equipping them in providing pastoral care. Drawing from your own cross-cultural experience, you will represent the US office as it works alongside colleagues from 14 nations supporting workers on 30 country teams.

One of us already lives in West Philly & works at a Montessori school in Center City. The other is excited to relocate to Philly from DC. Hello! My housing for this fall recently fell through, so I wanted to post & ask if anyone knows of someone seeking a housemate in West Philly. (I’m potentially open to Center City/areas near Center City as well). My lease ends on August 31, so ideally a place that is open before then…but I do have temporary housing lined up for September so I am open to a later start date. I’m pretty allergic to cats, so a house with cats would not be a good fit–but I’m very happy to live with dogs or other pets. I’m a vaccinated non-smoker who tends to be pretty quiet. I try to be an excellent communicator & use conflict-resolution skills to address anything that comes up (& I tend to get along with people pretty well). I’m tidy & do my dishes & am happy to chip in on household chores. I’m planning on working at a Montessori school with lots of young children…so I might not be the best housemate for someone who is very high risk. I’d ideally like to pay no more than $750/month.

I am currently looking for full-time childcare for Katie (4) and Elijah (1) starting September 8th and running for the school year according to the School District of Philadelphia calendar. I am looking for someone who would be willing to have Katie and Elijah in their home, Monday through Friday from roughly 7:30 to about 3:45. These times might adjust slightly once I figure out my morning commute/carpooling options for the year. I would be willing to do two different places during the week, if doing 2 or 3 days/week would be an option for someone. I can pay $100/day.
