Tenth offers children a complementary blend of Bible instruction, music, worship, and teaching from the children’s catechism every Sunday. Each hour provides a foundation for their understanding of the gospel and is a wonderful way for them to meet their peers. Attending these programs will benefit your child spiritually and socially!
9 AM: Bible School in rooms B2 and B3
This is age-graded instruction focusing on the person and work of God. Children also sing and pray and memory work begins in earnest at this age. Both Bible instruction and memory work are important milestones to the later years in the Bible School.
11 AM: Worship or Praisemakers in rooms B2 and B3
Children start in the worship service with their parents until the hymn before the offering and, if the parents choose, they are dismissed for a time of general music and worship instruction. Praisemakers is a helpful introduction to worship and there is Biblical instruction by explaining the texts of the hymns. The children also enjoy a snack at this time.
6:30 PM: Catechism Club in rooms B2 and B3
Children start in the evening service with their parents and are dismissed to learn the children’s catechism. They learn the catechism question and answer and then a verse and Bible story related to it. There is also a craft, a fun snack, and group games at the end.
